Back in 1971, Ducati showed the world the 750GT – its first motorcycle with an air-cooled engine. The folks from Bologna don’t want you to forget this day, and to mark the 50 years anniversary, we get a gift – two new Scramblers 800 & 1100 with cool looks.

The launch of the two new Scrambler is part of Ducati’s plan to reveal 6 new models in the near future – one of them is the highly anticipated Desert X adventure bike.

First introduced is the Scrambler Tribute Pro 1100 – this bike comes with new yellow paint and the old classic Ducati logo on the fuel tank. It also features black wheels – another classic sign of the old Ducati’s.

Under the new looks, it’s the same Scrambler 1100 that we know (and love) – it has the same air-cooled L-Twin 1,079 cc motor that produces 86 hp and the same front suspension made by Marzocchi.

The second bike the Italian company shows is the Scrambler 800 in his “Urban Motard” outfit – with 17-inch spoked wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, low front fender, flat seat, side number plates, and a new red and black graphics on the tank, inspired by graffiti to enhance its urban attitude.

Like the Tribute Pro 1100, the changes in the Scrambler 800 “Urban Motard” are more cosmetics than mechanical – it has the same air-cooled L-twin 803 cc engine that produces about 73 hp and the same Kyb front suspension as the “regular” Scrambler 800 versions.

Prices went up a little, with the Urban Motard starting at $11,695 and the Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro starting at $13,995 in the USA.
